Time To Stand?

Not too long ago, two friends of mine were talking to a Cuban refugee, a businessman who had escaped from Castro, and in the midst of his story one of my friends turned to the other and said, "We don't know how lucky we are." I would really (really) prefer to write about happy, philosophical concepts and wonderings. But it seems that we have reached a tipping point in human history and I cannot pretend that there is not something wicked this way coming. Actually I think it is here. It's not just local, it's global which sort of keeps me in a state of 'what-just-happened?' and on guard for all the possibilities of what might happen next.

I realized it's not just a few weird things here and there, as has been the way it’s always been here on earth where satan is non-stop questing to destroy God's perfect creation, but anomalous things, a growing collection of profoundly disturbingly evil events that seem strangely connected and thus suspiciously looking like part of a grand diabolical scheme.

I started making a list. As the list grew I thought it was beginning to feel like a bad dream that I can't wake up from.

I asked myself, as a citizen of a 'free' country, in my wildest imagination did I ever think I would live to see the day, (in no particular order), when...

• Children would be coerced and encouraged by teachers in public school to lie to their parents and hide their confused identities?

• Physicians, who must pledge to do no harm, willingly destroy the bodies of children for some kind of perceived noble cause... or money?

• A father of eight would be swatted by FBI in his home and arrested in front of his children ... for praying and singing hymns in an abortion clinic?

• A young mother would be convicted and sent to jail for praying in an abortion clinic?

• A woman would be arrested in the UK for standing on a public sidewalk and silently praying across the street from an abortion clinic?

• The UK police would warn that any comment on social media that does not comply with acceptable narrative will be cause for arrest and extradition to stand trial for 'hate speech' even if you live in another country? Can you imagine that your country would comply?

• School librarians would defend the books that not too long ago would have been considered pornographic? Libraries would host sexually explicit Drag Queen shows targeting young children ... and more distressing, parents would willingly bring their toddlers to watch?

• A reporter, acting undercover and recording abortionists as they gleefully share how they carefully extract fetuses so they can sell the body parts is prosecuted but the murdering abortionists, who adamantly claimed they never sell body parts, are not held accountable for breaking the law and lying?

• A well-known conservative news personality is prosecuted and sent to jail for ignoring a Congressional subpoena but a high profile official of the current presidential administration does the same thing and is not prosecuted?

• A campaign is promoted by well-known news personalities declaring the information on a laptop of the son of a presidential candidate as 'Russian Disinformation' and when it turns out everything on the laptop is true and damning evidence...and the MSM gets a pass and never has to retract or apologize for lying? And, worst of all, nothing is done about the evidence?

• Young women are forced to allow delusional men who think they are women to share locker rooms and compete in their sports and even be harmed physically and there is not a peep of complaint or support from the knitted pink hat 'MY BODY MY CHOICE' feminists for the safety and rights of these girls and women? Not a peep?

• The IOC president of the International Olympics declares there is no scientific evidence that makes it possible to determine the difference between a man and a woman? But on other topics we are admonished to TRUST THE SCIENCE™?

• A Christian man, who owns a bakery would have to spend millions to defend himself for years against lawsuits demanding that he bake a custom cake for a wedding that he determines is counter to his religion?

Did you ever, in your wildest imagination, think that one day, you, an average loyal American, would suddenly wake up one morning and realize you are now living in what is tantamount to a third world country where those who break law, both human and spiritual, have more rights than you do?

And now you consider you have to stay as silent and unnoticed as possible to avoid being targeted by the new iteration of Stasi?

And last, but not least, did you ever imagine that you would one day be able to purchase things by simply holding your hand over an electronic reader?
